These Turtle Salt Shakers are part decor, part practical!
A throwback to a popular salt shaker design in 1970’s Poland, redesigned in brown clay ceramics with a twist!
To Fill: pour in salt through the hole in the bottom, and tap on the side to get the salt into the chamber.
To Use: Give it a shake, one shake is all it takes. The salt travels up and back down the same hole you used to fill it.
It makes a great conversation piece. Everyone is always so enthralled to give it a shake!
Note: Do NOT submerge in water. It’s not easy to dry the interior and that can make your salt clump up. The interior is already sterilized by high heat during the firing process, so it’s ready to go out of the box! It is still considered food safe because you’re only using salt (any dry seasoning would work too)
